Snow day! Can you believe we’ve have 9??? My kids and Matt have had 12 or 13!! The governor gave us 4 extra days (we only get 5) which means, so far, we only have to go one extra day!
No readings this week for the class I am taking! They are killing me so it’s nice to have a break.
We started watching Little House on the Prairie with the kids. It is so fun! I think I’ve cried every episode! The one wear Laura reads an essay about her Mom? I died.
Gabe had a band concert this week. It was adorable! Plus he has to dress up and wears a bow tie. Eeek!
I had parent teacher conferences last night. During one of them, with my student C, who has done nothing this year, I mentioned that he is in my homeroom and I will give up my lunch to work with him. His mom said “C!! Are you crazy? Look at her! You have this gorgeous woman who is willing to work with you! Why wouldn’t you want to do that??” He turned bright red…but it was hilarious!
I still have coffee gift cards from Christmas and it’s so nice to treat myself for free!
For Olivia’s birthday yesterday, one of her typical peer friends decorated her locker! Her teacher sent me a picture of it and I had happy tears the rest of the day. How sweet is that??
Matthew own Pinewood Derby last weekend so we are off to districts in March. He is beyond thrilled!
Birthday party for Olivia this weekend! I love celebrating my kids. I’ll be sure to share pictures next week!

PS- Tricia came to my room first thing yesterday morning to tell me that her daughter requested to decorate Liv’s locker and I seriously cried! Love it!! (And those girls too!)
