Right before Christmas, as a surprise to the kids, we headed over to Cleveland to see the A Christmas Story house. Please don’t tell me if you don’t know that movie or don’t like it, ok? It’s our favorite. We lucked out because it was 55 and sunny that day; this was good because the line to get in was at least 45 minutes long. If you can believe it, Olivia walked three or four blocks from the car, stood in line, went through the house, the museum and the gift shop and walked back to the car! That is unheard of for her! I only carried her for about 10 minutes. We were so impressed and proud!! Her stroller is broken which is why we were without it. We lucked out that she did so well. We also went out for dinner after…at Melt (Cleveland people…are you obsessed with this place? HOLY COW SO GOOD!) and we had to wait for 45 minutes again. Olivia did have her ipad and did really well. Can you tell she’s not so great at waiting?
My in-laws went with us…and here we are with THE lamp!
Do you know what your son said? He said “F&*K!” WHAAATTTT???
Over the years I got to be quite a connoisseur of soap. My personal preference was for Lux, but I found Palmolive had a nice, piquant after-dinner flavor – heady, but with just a touch of mellow smoothness. Life Buoy, on the other hand…
Hurry up, Randy! I was here first!
I can’t put my arms down!
You’ll shoot your eye out! A blue ball!
Go on Smartass and do it!
Mommy’s little piggy!
Mothers know nothing about creeping marauders burrowing through the snow toward the kitchen where only you and you alone stand between your tiny, huddled family and insensate evil.
It was a great day. The kids loved it! If you’re ever in the area, it’s worth the trip!
