Happy This Week

Matthew earned the most money in his class for their fundraiser. He gets to be teacher for the day today. He’s so excited! Every day this week he has reminded me that he gets to be teacher on Friday. He’s most excited because he gets to give the spelling test and doesn’t have to take it!

The weather has been so beautiful here in Ohio this week! I’m ready for it to be chilly though! (Don’t hate me for saying that!)

I love my fall and winter clothes. I’m ready to be done with summer clothes.

I finished Orange is the New Black — holy smokes!! When does Season 2 come around??

Pink was on Ellen! She is my idol.

We went out to a really nice restaurant on Wednesday for my Dad’s 60th birthday. It was ridiculously delicious.

The other new math teacher at my school is awesome! It’s so nice to have a great teaching buddy! My department chair is wonderful too. They both make me extra glad to have my new job.

I carpool with my BIL every day and I enjoy getting to know him even better. You’d think after being in the family for almost 20 years I would know everything about him, but I don’t! He’s such a great guy and it’s nice to have someone to share the gas bill with each week!

Matt and I are going out on a date tomorrow. Woo hoo! Thanks, Mom!

I’m going out with friends tonight! We’re going to a new paint-your-own pottery place…and you can bring your own wine! 🙂

We have nothing major going on this weekend. Only one soccer game, no early morning camp for Olivia on Saturday and no major plans. Maybe some rest and relaxation—finally!

Olivia was able to stay after school on Wednesday for Spirit Club. Although Spirit Club wasn’t what I expected, or what Gabe expected, I was happy that she was able to stay after school without me for a little over an hour.
