Happy This Week

In March, for my Mom’s birthday, I got her tickets to see Wicked. My BFF Amy and her Mom were going and, even though my Mom and I aren’t big musical fans, I thought it would be a great day out for us. Well guess what? Wicked is THE BEST MUSICAL EVER!! My Mom and I LOVED IT! It was amazing!! We had so much fun and it was a great day out.

We had a nice, no plans family day on Sunday. The kids let me take their pictures and we went out for ice cream. I love do-nothing-days!

It was finally above 80 degrees and not raining this week so we made it to our favorite waterpark. Olivia did great and we all had a blast. Waterparks are exhausting though. Totally.

Matt had a wonderful first day of work! He loves it!

I had my first day at work, not with kids, and it was great too! It feels so weird to be new and not have any buddies yet though.
One teacher that I just met did stop and ask me if I wanted to go to lunch. I had already eaten my packed from home lunch but it made my day!

My students start Monday!

The kids had their first day and everything went smoothly. Olivia said it was great, Gabe said two thumbs up, and
Matthew said it was AWESOME! This picture sums up how they felt at 630 a.m. Olivia kept saying “it’s SO early!!”
