Happy This Week

Even though it was because of my uncle’s funeral, I was able to see all of my aunts, uncles and cousins this week. We usually only see each other once a year. I have such fond memories with all of them and it makes me happy to see them.

I had three days of teacher training this week and I really enjoyed it! It was fun to be back to work, to meet new people and to be out of the house. I believe my exact words on Monday, after the kids were being you-know-whats all day, was I CAN’T WAIT TO GO TO WORK!!!

The kids missed me while I was gone. 🙂

New clothes, new shoes, new jewelry…hallelujah!

I got keys to my classroom!!! I can finally get in and start getting ready. Did I mention I’m excited?

I had a nice dinner with my Mom on Monday. I love spending time with her.

My golf outing for Olivia and the 5p- society is this Sunday! I’ve worked really hard and am glad it’s finally here. I am humbled by all of the donations we’ve received. Thank you, everyone! And it’s supposed to be 80 and sunny on Sunday!!!

When I worked from home, I was always afraid to wear sweatpants and yoga pants because I thought it was a slippery slope to gaining 20 pounds and not even realizing it. Well now that I’m dressing up every day, I’ve discovered the joy of putting on yoga pants when I get home!!!
