Faith

I just finished reading The Shack. It’s got me thinking about all sorts of things but especially faith. What does faith mean exactly? I think it means different things to different people. To me, most days, faith means that I believe life is good. For all the pain, for all the difficulties, for all the hardships, I still think life is good. That, to me, is faith.
This song about faith gives me chills. I dare say that’s a sign of a good song! I found it on itunes when I was just browsing around looking for something else and was stunned by how pretty it was. Then I listened to the lyrics. So simple, so beautiful, so true. Whether it’s faith to get you through a tough day, a tough week or a really tough situation, you have to have faith. In yourself…in your strength…in a higher power if you believe. I hope you have Faith.

I really liked that book. It got me thinking about a lot as well. To me, faith means something similar. Despite all the hardships, I believe life really will be okay and that everything will work out exactly the way it’s supposed to. That doesn’t mean I don’t cry, get scared, get frustrated, or have mini panic attacks on a regular basis – I totally do. But once the moment phases and the fear weakens it’s grip, my faith is stronger than it was before. Your life is beautiful. Your family is beautiful. Your faith is beautiful. *hugs*
Thank you for the song today. I can’t tell you how much I needed it. All I can say is I read the words, went to iTunes and downloaded it.
There have been some pretty significant challenges in my life that I’ve been dealing with over the past two weeks, and while that song made me cry, it also reminded me that as long as there’s a tomorrow, things will get better…and I’m stronger than I think I am.
