In Myrtle Beach, the kids were fascinated by the fact that everyone was smoking. Where we live, hardly anyone smokes so it was really odd for them to see people smoking all the time. Outside of a gas station on the way home, an old man was standing outside the door smoking. Olivia and I were walking by him and she said “Mom, is he smoking?” I said yes. She looks right at him and says “You’re smoking? What a moron!” I swear, you just never know what’s going to come out of her mouth!

Golf widow night with my BFF, Amy, is my favorite! I missed it while on vacation.

Gabe is so teenagery lately. He seems to like me again. I never know if I’m embarrassing or cool. It depends on the day. I love watching him grow up.
