Here’s what made me happy this week…
Even though the kids and Matt were sick, we all took a sick day on Monday and it was awesome. We slept in, we watched movies, we stayed in our pjs…I think we need to do that more often. As long as it’s not the puking/diarrhea sick…I’m good!
I took lots of pictures this week. I love doing it. I love meeting new people, interacting with the kids and coming home to see if I got that one perfect shot. If only Santa would bring me that new camera…
That last picture isn’t technically great…but I love it anyway!!
I’m going to see Twilight today!!!!
A pair of jeans that hasn’t fit in a while finally fit…that is a good feeling.
The boys and Matt and I have been playing rummy every night after dinner. It’s cute watching Matthew beat us all even though he hasn’t a clue what he’s doing.
I talked to one of my BFFs from college on the phone this week and it was like no time had lapsed at all. Made my heart happy.
The Kitchen Witch sent me an email that brought me to happy tears. Isn’t this blogging universe amazing?
Bad Mommy Moments released this week—yeah for Cindy!!!
Matt and I were able to have a mini-date on Wednesday night. We tried to go Christmas shopping but struck out. I guess we weren’t ready yet. We did, however, have a nice dinner! (Thanks Mom for babysitting!)
Did I mention I get to see Twilight today?

Your kids sleep in? Mine never do, even when they’re sick. Sigh. But I’m thankful for my walking, talking alarm clocks all the same. 🙂
