Mama Bear

**I’m linking up with MamaKat today: Write a post in 12 lines.**

Mama’s Losin’ It

Little Bear came home with a bloody chin one too many times.

Mama Bear was upset and complained but nothing changed.

They tried a favorite toy and the ipad on the ride to keep her busy.

But Little Bear didn’t feel liked or wanted on the bus, so she picked.

Scratched and clawed her chin wide open during a 7 minute bus ride.

The last day Little Bear came home bloody, without shoes and without her toy.

Mama Bear was so livid she grabbed Little Bear and stormed back to the house.

The next day, Mama Bear went to the bus garage and demanded something be done.

That same afternoon, Little Bear came home on a different bus, happy as a clam.

Even though Mama Bear didn’t want to get anyone in trouble and usually avoided confrontation, she was unstoppable when it came to her little one.

Mama Bear was so proud of herself for fighting.

Don’t mess with Mama Bear.
