Here’s what made me happy this week…
My first attempt at decorating cookies for Matthew’s birthday…he wanted Pokeballs…I thought they turned out pretty darn good…and they were delicious too!!
There’s nothing quite like the excitement of a 7-year-old over their birthday, is there?
Friends the show…it never gets old.
Two nice long walks and one bike ride with Matt this week…lots of conversation!
Olivia’s excitement over the birthday party (!) she is going to tonight. She wakes up every morning and asks if today is the party day.
At school they had a reward party for the kids who completed the summer reading program. The local minor baseball team’s mascot was there as a surprise and Olivia was beside herself! Her teacher sent me a picture and it was all she could talk about!
The return of Parenthood. Man I love that show. And Project Runway. And Jon Stewart. Yeah for new tv episodes!!!
Soccer, soccer and more soccer. I just love watching the boys play.

I will be making Pokeball cookies for Eli to take to school for his birthday – even 8 year olds do happy dances for their birthdays đ I get the challenge of a Pokemon cake too… Nowhere close to Hilary status but I’m sure he’ll love it đ
