Here’s what made me happy this week…
Olivia had her scoliosis check today. After 3 months of no brace, her spine didn’t change so she gets another 6 months free of the brace! Very, very happy news for a mom who hates torturing her daughter every night by putting her in that horrid contraption.
Back to school haircuts. There isn’t anything much cuter than two boys who just got their hair cut.
I had to go to Columbus for work on Monday, which sucked, but I got to ride in the car for 7 hours with my friend, Sherri, which was awesome. I love catching up with her.
My weekly wine date with my BFF. She was on vacation last week so it felt like it had been forever and we had so much to catch up on!
Feeling very organized to start the school year. I am PTA president again and I feel like I have a better handle on things this year. Plus I have an awesome team of women helping me!
Ice cream for dinner. Yum.
Fresh tomatoes from my garden. Holy deliciousness.
Back to school clothes for Olivia. My Mom bought her knee-high brown boots, skinny jeans, a bright pink raincoat and the cutest jean jacket I’ve ever seen. My Liv is like a fashion model the way she can wear clothes.
A new pair of running shoes. *my feet sigh in relief*
Only 4 more weekdays until the kids go back to school. But I’m not counting!
What made you happy this week?
You had me at ice cream dinners and home-grown tomatoes… not together, of course.
olivia sounds like she’s going to be quite the fashionista! i love back to school shopping….especially for my girls ๐ and new running shoes? oh man could i use some of those! i’d probably need to drag my sorry butt out and go running first though…..stupid back to school sickies that we ALL got within 4 days of going back to school!
Congratulations on the happiness and great perspective Madame President.
Woohoo on the scoliosis check!!! And a hell yeah on little boys with fresh hair cuts! I missed out on writing my happy this week because I was living it. Sand and the cabin with my favorite crew. Oh, and finding diving lessons for Eli that aren’t UNGODLY expensive!!! I love the area we live in ๐
