Look How Far

It never ceases to amaze me how far we’ve come. Emotionally we’ve grown leaps and bounds as individuals and as a family. Physically it’s astounding how much the kids have grown. I love watching home movies and listening to their sweet little voices and watching them crawl for the first time. A few week’s ago, my friend Charity’s daughter walked for the first time. We all watched the video on Facebook and cheered with joy. It was amazing. I really wanted to go back and look at Olivia’s first steps. And then I decided that I wanted to make a video that shows just how far she’s come physically. The physical tasks have always been hardest for her. We have all worked so hard and we are so proud. I hope you enjoy watching just how far she’s come.

Watch Olivia Moves It here!!

  1. Hey! This is what it says when I click on the link…..

This video contains content from SME, UMG and EMI, one or more of whom have blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.
    Sorry about that

    At least it apologized. LOL!

  2. Dang it!! Thanks, Kacey. šŸ™‚

  3. i got the same message as kacey. 😦

  4. Isn’t it great to be able to look back like this. Olivia has made amazing progress.

  5. She is amazing. You can just see how hard that girl is working. Thank you for sharing this with us. I wish I’d gotten video of my Miss O when she first sat (at a year old,) crawled (at 17 months) and walked (at 29 months.)

  6. Wow…she is such a cutie! Congrats mom…you’ve captured some wonderful memories here šŸ™‚

  7. Wow, you have it all documented on video! The AFOs and walker (and the thought of the neighbors watching!) brought back memories… except Janine & I did it inside. Laps around the community center.
My 13 y/o son watched and said, “Olivia answers questions right away! I think she’s more disciplined.” I guess he’ll be working on that with his sister!

  8. tears streaming down my face – all incredibly happy! And MKW in those videos??? Priceless!!! She’s come so far! What an amazing girl! xoxo Olivia!

  9. I just about cried watching this. I loved seeing Sophie’s first steps a few weeks ago and literally cheered so hard at the computer scree (and showed my mom. I tried to show Cali, but the noise from the video made her cry, haha). Your Olivia has always helped me see the good things and the hope for the future. She’s so, so AWESOME.

  10. Totally blown away!!! Olivia has come such a long way and she still has so much more to accomplish. I found myself in shock through out the video because I swear I was looking at Sophie in so many clips. The sounds when vocalizing, the manner in which she responded, the mouthing and even the gestures. WOW!!! Gives me so much hope. One day years from now I hope to share this wonderful feeling you have given me through Sophie’s accomplishments to someone else.
