I first fell in love with your beautiful face and your laid back personality.
I then fell in love with your ginormous cheeks and joyous energy.
I stayed in love with your cheeks that wouldn’t quit and your non-stop chatter and energy.
Those cheeks. They just didn’t quit. I kissed on them as much as possible each and every day. Your laughter made my life brighter.
Your personality became so warm and loving. You truly lit up a room and made people smile. Our family was so complete with you in it.
It seemed to me that you were growing up so fast. Too fast. Where did those cheeks go? Where did my baby go? You were no longer a baby, you were a big boy. I fell in love with my boy. I could start to see who you were going to be. And I loved him.
You went to school and I miss you terribly. But I am head over heels in love with my special six-year-old boy. You are simply wonderful. Every day you laugh, you smile, you bring joy to my life. Every single day. The world is brighter because of you. I hope you know that.
