7000 Thank Yous

Our 3rd annual Olivia’s Open was held yesterday and we raised $7000.

Seven. Thousand. Dollars.

I’m humbled when I think of that amount. All raised by little old me. Crazy, isn’t it?

Of course I couldn’t have done it without help. So much help.

Matt who encourages all of his golfing buddies to golf and helps me scramble at the last minute to get everything done. And who understands “Skins” and all that other weird golfing lingo that goes right over my head.

My Mom who not only sponsored a hole but takes care of the kids for me on Open day so I can get everything done.

My MIL and FIL who help with registration and a betting hole.

My stepmom and stepsister who came down to help out with registration. I always love spending time with you!

My friend Michelle who brought her bullhorn to the betting hole she was in charge of and heckled people all day to raise more money. She also organized a Facebook donation that brought in almost $1000! You’re awesome.

My friend Robin who was unwavering in her efforts to get us on the news, sponsored a hole, organized the Brownie car wash, brought 4 foursomes to golf and brought me lunch. You are the best. Seriously.

The Brownie Troop for holding the car wash to raise money. You girls are amazing.

My hole sponsors and friends who were instrumental in getting me hole sponsors. We wouldn’t raise much at all without you!

People and businesses who donated to the silent auction. Awesome!

The golfers who came and spent 18 holes worth of time with us! You were so much fun. I even had a friend from elementary school come and bring a whole crew and two friends from high school and their husbands come. How awesome is that?

So much goes into one little golf outing to make it successful. I can’t thank you all enough!!
