It took just a minute for me to decide…

that you were as beautiful on the inside as you were on the outside; those dimples and milk chocolate eyes didn’t lie

that you were the funniest man I’d ever met

that I wanted to hold your hand

that I wanted to kiss your sweet, soft lips

that you loved me because I was….me

that you were true

that I wanted to be your wife

that you would be the best father a child could have

It just took a minute. An offer of a sweatshirt when I was cold. A friendship that turned into love. A kiss that made me feel like the world stopped spinning.

I do.

Forever.

Every day I’m thankful for you. I mean it. Every single day I take a moment to think about how lucky we are to be together and have this beautiful life. There’s no one else in this universe that I want to walk through this life with.

I hope we’re one of the lucky ones that gets to spend a good, long life together. Because I love imagining us old and grey and still head-over-heels in love.
