Magical

Disney is truly a magical place.

You get to have dinner at Tony’s…you know, the place where Lady and the Tramp kiss over their spaghetti? And then your Dad buys you your very own Lady to take home.

Magical.

Then you go on rides that either make your stomach drop (which you love), go super fast (which you love even more) or take you on a journey through your favorite movies.

Magical.

Your brothers fight to ride with you; they think you are so brave. They love to listen to you scream and laugh and get you to put your hands up on rides.

Magical.

You make Tinkerbell and the other Fairies laugh because you flit and fly around faster than they do. They giggle and designate you a “Fast Fairy”.

Magical.

You get to go to the highest point in the park and see Cinderella’s Castle with your brothers…from a rocket ship. Then you get to meet “Cindy” herself. She’s just as pretty and as sweet as she is in the movie.

Magical.

Finally, you get to see two more of your favorite princesses up close and personal. They sign your book “To Olivia with Love” and give you hugs. They let you touch their dress and talk to you about your beautiful hair and smile.

Magical.

Then you fall fast asleep with dreams of all of the wonderful sites and rides and experiences the next day will bring.

Magical.

  2. LOVE IT!! And I miss her! Haha! I can’t wait to hear her tell all about it when I see her again! What a WONDERFUL family experience! 🙂

  3. I have never been to Disney. I want to. Every summer I see Lisa’s Disney pictures (I think you follow her blog, so you know what I’m talking about). And now I am marveling over your magical experience. Someday I too will have to experience the magic.

  4. I’m living vicariously through you this week. We are planning on taking our girls when Elisabeth is 10 (6 more years). That is our birthday gift to her that year. I am so excited.

  5. You out it best — magical. Truly magical!

  9. I wrote a similar post about the magic of Disney. I wasn’t anticipating the magic, but fell in love with the whole experience.
