I have been trying to find the perfect way to display my kids’ beautiful artwork and could never find the perfect solution. Either the display would only hold certain sizes or it looked too cluttered. Lo and behold, I was reading one of my favorite-I-have-to-read-it-every-day blogs, and there was the perfect idea.
When we moved into our new house, I bought really cheap curtain rods for the kids’ rooms because I was trying to save money. Well, I hate them. The curtains are too heavy for the cheap rods and they sag in the middle. But, they will be perfect for the art display!!
I am finishing up the mudroom, then I’m finishing our bedroom, then I’ll be moving on to my art display in the basement. I can’t wait. I think it will add the perfect splash of color and interest to our cream-colored basement.
Thanks, Lindy, for not only writing a great blog but for offering up this great idea!!
Oh yeah, that is cool!!
I’m glad you liked it!
I can’t wait for Tuck to start creating art! Super display method!!
I like this idea. My daughter has collected a bucketful of artwork and I think this is a perfect way to display her “talent” and liven up a room. Thanks.
Oh, that is really cool!
What a fantastic idea! And thanks for the link to a new blog (for me, anyway!)
We use a curtain wire from IKEA that has clips on it. I love it so much! It hangs in my kitchen for all who visit my house to see. We rotate the artwork – some of my favorites stay for a really long time:) Total cost was about $15 with a lifetime of possibilities! Glad you found a great way to display your too:)
What a great idea!!
What a great idea! I also know someone who attached a clothesline across one wall of her child’s room, at the eye level of the child, and uses clothespins. That way the child can swap out whenever he/she wants.
When I saw this on Lindy’s blog I thought it was genius, too! This is why I read you ladies!!!
