Sundays in my City — Relay for Life

Unknown Mami hosts Sundays in my City…play along, it’s fun!!
Unknown Mami

Of course we had this to do yesterday….and the boys played without half their team and suffered their first defeat…but they handled it with such grace and good sportsmanship, they made us all proud…

And after that my husband went and enjoyed a round of golf and a cigar with some friends…while I finished my book and worked out…and played around with my new Prime Lens…I’m so in love…

After the kids woke up from their nap, we headed over to Relay for Life which raises money for the American Cancer Society. Olivia and Gabe’s teachers are the captains of their school’s team so of course we had to go show our support. They, along with Mrs. C, are members of Olivia’s A-Team at school. We love them so.

And while we were there, I discovered Olivia’s hidden ability…she’s a track star.

I’m calling Special Olympics tomorrow to sign her up.

She’s so fast…and after years of wondering when and if she would walk, I’m still amazed every time she runs…especially in pink gladiator sandals.

That’s what’s going on here in Suburbia Ohio…what’s going on in your neck of the woods?
