You never listen to me! Ever!
I can’t possibly listen that much.
This is marriage in a nutshell.
Don’t say you weren’t warned, ok?
He says, she says, everybody compromises!
Sounds like my life!
haha, so true! And yet we are so drawn to each other :-)
Yes! If we both talked too much at once, there would never be room to listen and grow right?
So true! Later, she’ll be exasperated that OF COURSE she told him about x, y, or z. He’ll say she didn’t. She’ll know he never listens! ;)
And you didn’t even mention kids.
Who speak loudest. Require much listening.
Family relationships: Complex, challenging, evolving, rewarding.
HA! That’s really how it is.

And then the quiet settles in. Sometimes breaking things. Sometimes restoring them.
I brought this post up and said to Mike, “I gotta read this post of Tiffany’s for you. You’ll love it!”
