It’s Official I have 2 kids in 2nd grade. How did that happen? How am I old enough to have 2nd graders???
It’s Official they were so excited that practically ran to the bus.
It’s Official Gabe’s teacher is awesome and he had a great day. He’s Mr. Perfect, as you know if you read my blog, so I got the full report of who didn’t behave yesterday and who didn’t have all of their supplies. He did manage to squeeze in some zombie tag with his best friends for fun though. It wasn’t all business.
It’s Official he was home for exactly 2 minutes before he asked if he could go play at his friend’s house. Sigh. I guess he didn’t miss me as much as I missed him. I’m just glad I’m raising an independent guy.
It’s Official Olivia not only stayed dry the whole entire day (until she got home…but I digress…) but was in the regular ed classroom the entire day. That’s never happened before.
It’s Official she told me all about her day when she got home and when I checked her daily note from her teacher, her info was correct! (You see, sometimes she makes things up to tease me…I know, you’re shocked!)
It’s Official she remembered the names of all of her new teachers, aides, friends and kids on her bus. And she was right! She’s amazing.
It’s Official I missed them terribly. I really did.
It’s Official Matthew was glad to have me all to himself so that made it better. We had a fun day planned…but then Matt lost the keys to the truck so I was without transportation. Bummer. We had fun at home!!
It’s Official I miss my quiet mornings. This summer, I would get home from the gym, have coffee, watch the Today Show, blog, facebook and all that before the kids got up. It was heaven. Now, it’s 8:47 and I’m just now getting coffee and blogging…I didn’t watch any news…and I’m watching Sid the Science Kid.
It’s Official I think it’s going to be a great school year and I’m so thankful my kids love school.
